How we collect, use and protect your data.
1. Who we are
MyResort Travel Private Limited (“MyResort”, “we”) is the data fiduciary for personal data collected through our platform. Our registered office is in Mumbai, India. You can reach our Data Protection Officer at privacy@myresort.in.
2. Data we collect
Account data: name, email, phone, date of birth, password (hashed), preferences.
Booking data: travel dates, companions, IDs required for safari permits, dietary preferences, payment tokens.
Technical data: device identifiers, IP address, browser type, crash logs.
Content data: reviews, photos, messages to hosts and support.
3. How we use your data
To provide the Services, process bookings and communicate with you.
To personalise recommendations, when you have opted in.
For fraud prevention, security and legal compliance under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
For aggregated analytics that do not identify you individually.
4. Who we share with
Suppliers required to fulfil your booking (hotels, safari operators, transport).
Payment gateways, under PCI-DSS obligations.
Cloud infrastructure and support tools, under confidentiality contracts.
Regulators, law-enforcement and courts where legally required.
5. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, export and delete your data. You may withdraw consent for marketing at any time from Settings → Privacy.
To exercise any of these rights, use the self-service options in your account or write to privacy@myresort.in. We respond within 30 days.
6. Retention
We retain personal data for as long as your account is active. Booking records are retained for seven years to meet tax and consumer-protection obligations. Marketing data is purged within 18 months of your last interaction.
7. Security
We use TLS in transit, AES-256 at rest, and follow ISO/IEC 27001 principles. Sensitive identifiers are tokenised. We maintain a bug-bounty programme; reach out to security@myresort.in for responsible disclosure.
